Resolution Machining Intern

Did you graduate from an accredited fabrication or manufacturing related, college diploma program within the last 3 years? Resolution Machining in North Bay, Ontario is currently seeking an Intern to join our expanding team.

Our centrally located 24,000 square-foot facility is fully equipped to provide CNC Machining, manual machining, fabrication and welding, and more. Job Description:

As a recent graduate of a fabrication or manufacturing related program, the intern will have the opportunity to gain additional knowledge and skills in their field of study. They will develop a thorough understanding of the fabrication/manufacturing process. The intern will gain hands-on experience fabricating/manufacturing parts and assemblies, which will include tasks such as: welding, CNC machining and more. If you are looking for an opportunity for growth, look no further. This is a full-time, 52-week paid internship position. The goal of the internship is permanent, full-time employment at Resolution Machining.

Responsibilities and Duties may include:

·       Welding

·       Assist with Plasma Table

·       Assist with CNC Brake Press

·       Run CNC machines

·       Read and understand mechanical blueprints and drawings

·       Assist with other tasks, projects, and departments as required 

Qualifications:

·       Graduated within the last three years from an accredited college diploma program in a fabrication or manufacturing related field

·       Must be your first position in your field of study

·       Must be legally entitled to work in Canada 

·       Excellent time management and organizational skills

·       Excellent communications skills

·       Mechanical aptitude and good math skills 

·       Excellent eye for detail 

·       Self-motivated, willing to be trained 

·       Excellent problem-solving skills 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

·       Ability to lift 45lbs 

·       Must be able to stand for long periods of time
